Bob Mongue of OldTreeArt was selected as one of 25 artists to paint for the Maine Audubon Auction running from September 17 to 26. He enjoyed nice weather on three days set up to paint in the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center on Pine Point Road in Scarborough, Maine.

Art in the Park – 2021
Our first annual “Art in the Park” event proved successful. Eight artists participated exhibiting paintings, photography, pottery, ornaments, cards, prints, magnets, and more! We’ll be doing it again next year – bigger and better building on what we learned this time around.

Acton Library Exhibits
The first Acton Library mini-exhibit featured several acrylics works by R. E. Mongue of Old Tree Art. Since then we have rotated through several artists. The current exhibit is by Doris Porell.
Continuing to Learn New Things
Cheryl Lunde recently began learning how to weave baskets. It was a three hour French Basket learning session. As the picture shows, she did quite well and reports is having been fun!
